County Democratic Party Looking for Non-Voting Members

The Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee is looking for 4 non-voting candidates to join the MCDCC.  Because the Maryland Democratic Party requires all Central Committees in the state to maintain a gender balance, the MCDCC will elect 4 male members to the Committee on Tuesday, December 14^th. Non-Voting Male Positions at December 14 Meeting

The Maryland Democratic Party requires all Central Committees in the state to maintain a gender balance (of women and men). As a result of the 2010 Primary Election, the composition of the Committee is now 14 women and 10 men. Therefore, the MCDCC will elect 4 male members to the Committee on Tuesday, December 14. These new members will be non-voting MCDCC members, but will be voting members of the State Democratic Central Committee, whenever all Maryland Democratic Central Committees meet.
